Innovating Croydon’s evening economy
Despite its current offer of vibrant restaurants, bars, pubs, events, and cultural venues, we’re supporting Croydon’s businesses to revitalise the evening economy. Recent economic conditions, coupled with changing consumer habits and anti-social behaviour, have significantly impacted footfall and revenue for local businesses.
With a rich creative legacy that spans music, arts, and entrepreneurship, Croydon has long been a hub of cultural innovation and resilience. But today, local businesses are facing a perfect storm of challenges - from rising costs to dwindling footfall and safety concerns - making it more vital than ever to adapt.
At Impact Croydon, we’re empowering these businesses and entrepreneurs with the skills, methods and connections they need to stay resilient and bring new life to Croydon’s evening and night-time economy.
Through one-to-one Innovation “Labs” and Bootcamps, we’re helping individuals and teams create new businesses, offerings and events for people and places across the Borough, with personalised, expert support from concept to launch.
This programme is brought to you by Studio Zao, a London-based innovation consultancy. We’ve launched ‘IMPACT’ programmes across the UK, supporting over +300 SMEs to make growth and innovation happen fast through lean methodologies.
This programme is free to join, fully funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and will be running until March 2025.
